2005!

I just got off of the phone with TrayJ discussing our plans for the coming year. As always, it has been hectic but, oh so worth it when the poets hit the stage at the end of each month. We have lots of surprises in store for the coming year but, you have got to be there to enjoy them. One thing that is currently in the works was announced at our last slam on December 27. Switch Beverages will be sponsoring a National Poetry Slam and our venue will be included in this 5 city competition (Los Angeles, Chicago, San Fransisco, New York, Richmond). The winner of this competition will be featured on HBO's DEF JAM POETRY. Details soon to follow! Stay tuned.
